Wrestling legend Mick Foley has revealed in a Twitter post that he has tested positive for COVID-19 and has been sitting in his hotel room for the past few weeks since the positive test. Foley says it happened in December after a virtual signing, but he didn’t provide additional details. He added that people should take this seriously and mask the social distance, and you can check out his full post below.
“I tested positive for COVID after a virtual signing in December and spent the past 18 days in a hotel room.
Please keep taking this virus seriously – mask, social distance, watch each other.
I wish you all a happy and healthy New Year. “

Foley cut back on his gigs and other events this year, although during his most recent virtual signing he took off most of his mask so he could make it a better experience for the fans. He was alone in the room with two other people, but unfortunately found that one of them tested positive, and he did once he was tested.
He has since been in a hotel room and in the video reveals that he missed Christmas and New Year with his family. Then he again stressed the importance of taking this seriously and carefully until a vaccine is readily available.
We’ll keep you posted as we learn more, but our thoughts are with Foley and we wish him a speedy recovery.
