Visionary new era TV spot released on New Years Day

A visionary new era is dawning WandaVision, the first original series from Marvel Studios. In the Disney + series that airs January 15, the unusual couple Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) live their ideal lives on the outskirts of the beautiful city of Westview. But when the two super-powered creatures discover strange events that will be happily ever after and turn their whimsical and romantic realities inspired by classic TV sitcoms upside down, the former Avengers begin to suspect that everything isn’t what it seems. “I can tell you there is no difference in production values. Emmy Magazine covered by WandaVision. “It’s a seamless sequel.”

While the MCU with 23 movies expands to the small screen with WandaVisionfranchise producer Kevin Feige says director Matt Shakman’s television series (Game of Thrones) and showrunner Jac Schaeffer (Black Widow) brings Marvel moviegoers something they “ can’t get in a theater. ”

“Streaming is 100 percent the future and what consumers want to watch,” said Feige Emmy Magazine. “And hopefully they want to watch our long narrative series. An experience like WandaVision is something you can’t get in a movie. You go to movies for things you can’t get while streaming, and you go to movies for things you can’t get in a theater. And of course, everything in a theater eventually goes to streaming. “

Like Bettany, an MCU veteran since 2008 Iron Man, Schaeffer promises Marvel movie quality with WandaVision.

“Now that Marvel is doing Disney +, it’s not the small screen at all. It’s still the big screen, but streaming,” Schaeffer said earlier. Variety about the first Marvel Studios series. “And so there’s still the same sense of greatness and the same scope and the same opportunities and the same resources, so it just really feels like a huge movie. We say it’s like a comic book, which is just really exciting to do. “

Featuring Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Teyonah Parris, Kat Dennings, Randall Park and Kathryn Hahn, WandaVision begins streaming exclusively on Disney + on January 15, 2021.
