Tom Cruise ‘to Build Covid-Secure Studio to Complete Filming of Mission: Impossible 7’

Tom Cruise has reportedly built a safe COVID-19 studio to complete his upcoming blockbuster Mission: Impossible 7.

According to The Sun, the actor is spending millions adapting a former military base for filming to ensure the rest of the production runs smoothly.

Insiders said Tom, 58, is ‘determined’ to complete production as soon as possible without further disruptions from the pandemic.

Production is reported to be relocated to a former tank design base at Longcross in Surrey out of Leavesden, Hertfordshire.

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Tom Cruise for comment.

It was recently alleged that five crew members on set were ‘stopped’ after the actor ‘went into a second rant’ following his anger over staff violations of COVID rules.

The actor is said to have given the staff a costume party after he caught them breaking British Covid rules at Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden.

A source claimed after news of the first outburst was made public that there has been ‘more anger’ over the already ‘tense’ production.

An insider told The Sun: ‘The tension has been increasing for months and this was the last straw. Since it went public, there has been more anger and several staff members have been walking.

But Tom just can’t take it after all the trouble they’ve put in to keep filming. He’s angry that others don’t take it as seriously as he does. ‘

They added that it is Tom who feels responsible for the production after putting so much time and money into taking precautions so that the team can film.

It was previously reported that the Hollywood star scolded workers who disregarded social distance rules while filming in Warner Bros. Studios.

Appealing to the no-nonsense attitude of his character, Ethan Hunt, the actor is said to have told them, ‘If I see you do it again, you’re fucking gone.’

The paper said the dressing was recorded on an audio tape, in which he would hear add, ‘And if anyone in this crew does it, that’s it – and you too and you too.

And you, don’t ever f *** ing it again. We’re not stopping this fucking movie. ‘

The American actor was reportedly upset after seeing the couple standing less than three feet apart behind a computer screen.

The actor can already be seen filming in Rome for the movie – in which he will reprise the role of the fictional American secret agent Ethan Hunt.

Last month, Tom was behind the wheel of a vintage yellow Fiat 500 in the Italian capital as he prepared for dramatic stand-off scenes with a squad of police cars.

The star was seen trying to drive his small vehicle down a wide city boulevard, before apparently letting go when confronted by the army of police cars and bicycles.

In previous weeks, he was seen filming a number of scenes in the Italian capital with his Mission: Impossible 7 co-star Hayley Atwell, 38.

Filming has also been done in Venice, as well as in Great Britain and Norway.

But the film has already been delayed. The crew was forced to suspend production because of Covid.

Many of the vital scenes were to be filmed in Italy, which was once the center of the world’s pandemic.

In October, the Top Gun star held crisis talks with director Christopher McQuarrie after 12 people on the set reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.

Health chiefs would trace the contacts of those who tested positive after filming was suspended, hoping it was an isolated case.

Last month, The Sun reported that 150 extras for the film were told not to come and shoot scenes that were on the evening’s filming schedule.

While no official reason was given for the sudden decision, it was claimed that a coronavirus test had come back positive from production, so filming had to be temporarily suspended.

Crew also urged members of the audience to maintain social distance from each other while they waited to see the stars, while Tom and director Christopher also allegedly made the request.

The star wore a mask on set and has also reportedly been keeping an eye on Covid rule breakers.

According to the Sun, he has paid £ 500,000 of his own money to pay for a cruise ship on which to isolate the cast and crew.

Mission: Impossible 7 will be released on November 19, 2021.
