The developers of Baldur’s Gate 3 are celebrating with a song about brain worms

A Mind Flayer is related to Santa Claus in Larian's music video Tadpole For You, Tadpole For Me.

Christmas music as a genre is full of earwigs (I’ve got slade in my head right now), but the makers of Baldur’s Gate 3 have taken it one step further with Christmas brainworms. Larian Studios today released the surprise Christmas gift from Tadpole For You, Tadpole For Me – a festive song about Mind Flayer parasite infestation. And yes, the developers sing it themselves. After all, iiiiiiiiiiiiitt’s Christmaaaaas. Ah goddamn.

Baldur’s Gate 3 would be a whole different game if our characters were so excited about their own Mind Flayer tadpoles. You wonder if they shouldn’t go with the flow. Sounds really fun. What’s the worst that could happen?

The fantasy RPG came in early this year, with a view to its full launch in 2021. Our Baldur’s Gate 3 early access review liked it a lot, though Matthew Castle thought he might rather wait for it to be completed and ready . I tell myself.

Disclosure: Our former Adam (RPS in peace) now works for Larian as a writer. If we make a song, maybe he will come back to us?
