Atletico Madrid Has been suspended for 10 weeks
Atletico Madrid have only read so far Kieran Trippier‘s 10 week ban for breaking the betting rules on the English Football Association (FA)‘s website, so they are waiting for official confirmation of the Spanish Football Association (RFEF).
The Colchoneros understand that although the FA have made this announcement with regard to Trippierparticipation in England and Atletico, they must be notified by the RFEF.
The ban, which will be signed by FIFA, refers to “all football and soccer-related activities”, which means that the right back cannot even train.
Until now this season Trippier is the only one Atletico outfielder who has played every game in LaLiga Santander and the Champions League so far this season.
