‘As a child I was even interested in virtual reality, I was always at the computer and then MySpace came by and I found my calling.’

Demi added: ‘I only got Instagram because someone there made a fake profile of me with 3000 followers and I was really jealous.
‘I was like,’ Wow, how can someone using my photos get so much? ‘ And then I just started an account and it went from there. ‘
From the age of 18, the bombshell – which currently has more than 14.9 million followers – signed with a modeling agency and her career kept getting stronger.
But while she was still studying to become a beautician, the social media sensation remembered how teachers came together to gossip and talk disapprovingly about her work.
Demi reflected: ‘I never found my place in school, people were pretty dirty and I think I was just different, people were drawn to bully me and since I left I’ve thrived.
