GROVELAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) – Police are investigating the tragic death of a 3-year-old girl from Holly after she was allegedly brutally attacked by her mother’s boyfriend.
Lovers say that after the girl’s death they are overcome with grief and grief. They say the death was not an accident, and we have confirmed that a suspect is being held here in the Oakland County Jail, a person who is no stranger to the family.
Family members say three-year-old Trinity Renee Chandler was an incredible joy to everyone whose life she touched.
‘Smile. They all smiled, ”said her aunt, Ronda Osterberg. “She was a happy child and did not deserve this.”
Osterberg said learning of Trinity’s sudden death left their family crushed and heartbroken. She believes that the responsible person who had to look at her turned against Trinity and was physically abusive.

Osterberg said the friend, whom we do not identify because he was not charged, allegedly assaulted her Saturday at the Groveland Manor Mobile Home Park.
MSP starts a full investigation and took him into custody after family members said he showed up with her body at a nearby fire station.
Osterberg said Trinity’s mother’s friend had a troubling history of violence and previous problems with the law.
She tried to leave him and was terrified of him. If you’re terrified of him, don’t leave your child with him, ”she said.
