TLC Match for the WWE Universal Title: Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns
We return to the ring and see the room filled with tables, ladders and chairs. WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is first out with Paul Heyman. Governs poses on the slope while the pyro goes off. Reigns enters the ring and more pyro goes off. He hands the title belt to the referee and it comes out above the ring.
Owens suddenly attacks Reigns while the leash is lifted. Owens destroys Reigns and sends him to the corner. Owens with a large angle cannonball. Owens takes it to the ground and launches Reigns into the barrier, then delivers another cannonball while fans keep going wild for him. Owens drops Reigns to the ground again, then knocks a large Frogsplash off the platform. Reigns to air.
Owens returns, but here comes Jey Uso to attack. Owens is ready for hm. The steel ring steps and a chair play ringside. Owens with chair shots to Jey to take him out. Owens shot at Reigns with another chair while down. Jey attacks Owens again, but a large chair shot to his foot in the middle of the super kick sends him down. Owens with more seat shots against Jey. Owens places the chair over Jey’s ankle and stamps on it to get it out.
Owens is in control until Reigns nails a large Drive By to the platform. Reigns gets the top of the announcement table and drives him to Owens while he’s down. We see Jey being helped back by officials. Reigns transfers half the steps and drives them in Owens’ face twice. Reigns then rides up the stairs to Owens several times while he is down. Chaos reigns all over the ring and Heyman is still shocked by the brutality.
They bring it in and Reigns rides a mini ladder into Owens. Owens tries to fight back, but Reigns keeps floating up the ladder even when he’s down. Reigns brings in chairs and continues to use them. Owens tries to swing a chair while he’s down, but Reigns drives more chair shots into him. Owens gets up and they exchange shots. Reigns cannot get Owens on his shoulders while Owens continues to fight. Reigns blocks Owens and makes him fall backwards on two chairs opposite each other. Reigns throws Owens back to the ground.
Reigns places a ladder and begins to climb, but Owens takes him back down with chair shots. Owens gets up a chair and hits Reigns on it with a Fisherman’s suplex. Reigns rolls around in pain and Heyman can’t believe it. Owens talks some shit while fans cheer. Owens now climbs for the title and makes it to the top. Jey runs back in and pulls Owens away. Owens fights back, but here comes Reigns with a Superman Punch. Uso is ringside one table and moves another to Reigns. Reigns knocked down a high ladder in one corner. Reigns pulls out the legs of a table and leans that table at a different angle.
Jey is in the ring now. Reigns sends Owens down a kick from Uso, but Owens fights them both. Owens with a super kick for Uso and a Stunner for Reigns. Reigns and Uso both roll onto the ground on their backs. Owens slowly steps up a ladder under the title while in pain. Uso pulls Owens to the ground and fights him, but Owens gets the upper hand. Owens gets Uso through the announcement table with a big pop-up power bomb. Owens buries Uso under a pile of rubble.
Owens comes back and goes for the title. He touches the title, but Reigns runs in and stops him. Reigns climbs while trading shots. Reigns pulls Owens off the ladder and continues punching. Reigns catches a super kick and power bombs Owens on the mini ladder in the corner. Reigns then picks up Owens and knocks him back up the ladder. They both land on the floor, Owens on his back. Owens smothers Owens by a table with two chairs on it.
Reigns continues to dominate ringside. Reigns puts Owens through another table with a large Samoan licorice. Reigns takes the time to get back into the ring. Reigns is climbing up for the title, but here comes Owens, barely able to stand and barely able to hold the ladder with one arm. Reigns laughs at Owens and can’t believe he’s still fighting. Reigns gets off the ladder and talks some trash, beating Owens around. Owens with a big slap in the face. Reigns responds by nailing an aggressive spear through a table leaning into the platform. Owens is gone, Reigns grabs his shoulder.
Owens rolls away from the table scraps in the corner and falls to ringside. Reigns goes outside and delivers a large spear, but Owens moves and Reigns crashes through the barrier. Owens goes back inside and starts pulling himself up the ladder. Reigns pulls him down and sends him up the ladder, which throws him into the ropes. Owens nails two super kicks to stun Reigns. Owens goes for a Pop-Up Powerbomb, but Reigns hits a Superman Punch along the way. Owens tries again and this time puts Reigns through a table with the Pop-Up Powerbomb. Reigns stumbles to the ground.
Owens climbs for the title but here comes Uso. Owens fights with him and takes him with a Stunner. Owens climbs back up and has his fingers on the title, but here comes Reigns. Rules with a low blow. Now reigns with the Guillotine at the top of the ladder as fans boo. Reigns lets go and Owens falls to the mat. Reigns finally takes back the title to win.
