Lil Wayne & Big Sean Go Bar-For-Bar on “Tyler Herro”

Friday was a day full of B-Sides. After a week of much speculation, Em dropped the B-Side Music to be killed by on Friday morning, which was a pleasant surprise to many fans who had heard rumors that he would drop before the end of 2020. But he wasn’t the only artist to do the same. Weezy F. Baby showed up with No ceilings 3 – B sides on Friday nights with little warning.

With another 14 songs on the tracklist, Wayne brings in a few stars, but no one would be better to open the project than Big Sean. The two unite on “Tyler Herro,” a remix of Jack Harlow’s tribute to the 20-year-old Heat player, which both Weezy and Sean Ham go for. Wayne is in his bag with this one, showing more vivid glimpses of his effortless puns and otherworldly flow from his mixtape era. Immediately after that, Sean comes through with arguably his best verse of the year. Sean’s pen, tackling the flute-laden production, is on par with the NOLA legend with tight flow as he tells his rightful shit on record.

Quotable Lyrics
If it’s not hot pink, it’s not my drink
These bright white links make your vision weak
Running through a bag like YouTube money
New Orleans no, I have money from the group
I voodoo somethin ‘, wish you would do something
Milkin ‘this shit like the Yoo-Hoo rabbit
Got the private plane lit and the Bluetooth runnin ‘
Tunechi gon ‘spit like a new tooth comin’
Everyone feels like entering the FUBU
A lot of zeros like a new bag of Funyuns
Tunechi has shottas like Buju Banton
Bullets that shoot through mountains
