Chyno Miranda has been struggling with serious health problems for several months as a result of the effects of the COVID-19 infection, which even left him in a wheelchair and lost his mobility, and although he still struggles to fully recover from peripheral neuropathy, revealed that his improvement is on the right track.
The Venezuelan singer gave an interview to People in Spanish, which posted it on its virtual cover this week, telling how the nightmare started with his health and how it developed.
My toes started to feel sore and then tingly. I started to feel numbness and severe pain in my legs, ”said the 36-year-old artist, who reached a point where he became paralyzed, requiring hospitalization.
“Right now I can tell you that I feel motivated, focused and full of hope. If you had asked me this two months ago, I would have answered that I was depressed. Imagine that I am paralyzed in a bed, where I could only move in a wheelchair, ”Chyno admitted.
Despite the difficult times he is going through, the singer, who has already gained 22 pounds, said he can now move and thanks life for another chance.
“The fact that I am young and in strong physical condition has helped me a lot during this time, but I have understood that emotional and spiritual strength helps to move forward in any life situation,” said the Venezuelan.
“As far as my wife is concerned, she has been the fundamental pillar in this process. He is a very positive and emotionally strong person. Those who know her know what I mean ”.
Chyno took the opportunity to thank his wife, Natasha Araos, for his support by his side, and incidentally sent a message to his fans, after what this moment meant, that he also considered learning.
“My message is that you never forget what my tattoo on my arm says, the sun will always rise. Whatever you go through, what you need to know is that there is always hope, because God blesses you every day because you live and breathe and sometimes we don’t realize it, ”said the singer. “Go ahead, fight for your wishes and dreams and live in the here and now that’s all we really have.”
About her condition, the interpreter of “My pretty girl” explained: “COVID-19 caused a compromise in the nervous system that [convirtió] in peripheral neuropathy ”, which causes nerve damage, causing discomforts such as weakness, numbness and a lot of pain. “Imagine, in a bed, without walking, the first thing I thought my artistic career was over,” he warned.
