The full Galaxy S21 Ultra specs leak reveals every detail

The past few weeks have been insane. It all started with leaked teasers from the Galaxy S21 series and finally several details courtesy of a Samsung Experience store in India.
That was followed by leaked hands-on photos and videos from the devices, and a lot more recently press renders. Now, Roland Quandt has returned with everything we need to know about the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra – Chipset, storage and more

Samsung’s Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 + are undoubtedly impressive, but the Galaxy S21 Ultra is an absolute killer. In Europe, the phone uses the unannounced Exynos 2100 and boasts an incredible 12 GB of RAM as standard.
According to the information now shared, the Exynos chipset includes an ultra-high-performance core clocked at 2.9 GHz, three high-performance cores running at 2.8 GHz and four efficiency cores clocked at 2.4 GHz. . Customers based in the United States will receive the new one from Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, but the rest of the spec sheet should be identical in all respects.
All of this sits alongside 128 GB of basic storage across Europe, although both 256 GB and 512 GB models are in the works. In addition, and as usual, Samsung is also throwing out support for microSD cards.

Before moving on to other areas, it’s worth mentioning the 5000 mAh battery that supports wireless charging and 45W fast wired charging. However, according to recent reports, no power brick is included in the box.

Samsung’s flagship from 2021 has an astonishing display

This South Korean brand often excels in the display department and 2021 will be no different. The Galaxy S21 Ultra has a massive 6.8-inch AMOLED display with thin bezels and curved edges on both sides. However, the curves themselves would be minimal and the panel is almost flat.

Samsung has also done everything with the related specifications. The chosen display supports a Quad-HD + resolution (3200x1440p) and a pixel density of 515 pixels per inch. Brightness, on the other hand, can reach an incredible 1,600 nits.

However, these are not the standout features. That’s the included variable LTPO 120Hz refresh rate, which allows the Galaxy S21 Ultra to display super-smooth content without drastically reducing battery life.

There are plans to market the Galaxy S21 Ultra’s screen as both a Dynamic AMOLED 2x Display and an Infinity-O Edge display. It is protected by the seventh generation of Gorilla Glass – Gorilla Glass Victus – and also supports S Pen.

Of course you can’t have a nice screen without good software. The Galaxy S21 Ultra should come with Android 11 and One UI 3.1 pre-installed.
On a separate note, the external package described above means that Samsung’s next device measures 165.1 x 75.6 x 8.9mm and weighs 228g. That makes it smaller, yet heavier than the Galaxy S20 Ultra (166.9 x 76 x 8.8mm, 222g).

The Galaxy S21 Ultra’s camera settings are killer

Where Samsung’s Galaxy S21 Ultra really shines is in the camera department. An improved main camera of 108 megapixels with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an aperture of f / 1.8 leads the way.

It is accompanied by the usual 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle snapper. It supports a field of view of 120 degrees and an aperture of f / 2.2. It doesn’t have OIS, but that’s usually the case on all smartphones anyway.

There is also an LED flash and laser autofocus, as well as a versatile zoom system. The latter consists of a 10-megapixel f / 2.4 telecamera with 3x hybrid zoom and a 10-megapixel f / 4.9 sensor with 10x hybrid zoom.

Both have OIS and the data from both sensors would allow 100x Space Zoom. Samsung originally introduced this feature on the S20 Ultra, but left it out from the Note 20 Ultra due to poor reception.

If you enjoy recording video, this might be the phone for you. The Galaxy S21 Ultra can record 8K video at 30fps and 4K video at 60fps. If you prefer normal 1080p, it can be recorded at up to 240 fps.

The selfie camera has a resolution of 40 megapixels.
