This month, 20 employees in Aurora and 60 employees at the Colorado Springs site tested positive. The outbreak started on December 17 at the Aurora site and on December 6 at the Colorado Springs site.
Both restaurants are still open and the state has not linked a single customer to either outbreak.
The Denver Post quoted a company official as saying that all employees who tested positive, and those who were in close contact with them, “are banned from the workplace.”
The Aurora restaurant is located at 14150 East Alameda Avenue, in the Aurora Town Center. The day it opened, the drive-thru line wrapped around the mall, causing traffic delays in the area. Aurora police reported people had to wait up to 12 hours.
