LSU head coach Ed Orgeron knows a thing or two about recruiting, and he’s pretty much done for National Signing Day.
The Tigers currently have 22 players signed or committed in the 2021 Class.
While LSU has done a good job filling in places, there are still some areas where the Tigers could afford to pick up an extra player to bolster the squad on the way to next season.
Here are three things to keep in mind:
1. Defense: the linebacker position and the secondary.
Losing linebacker Jabril Cox certainly leaves a void in defense for Orgeron and the company to fill in. The Tigers have drawn inside linebacker Nevonteque Strong and outside linebacker Zavier Carter.
As for the secondary, LSU was in the mix for Florida’s Dontae Balfour and signed cornerback Damarius McGhee.
