3 COVID-19 vaccine mega places in NJ close because of snow storm

NEW JERSEY – Gov. Phil Murphy has announced that three COVID-19 vaccine sites will close on Sunday due to the snowstorm that should hit New Jersey.

Appointments scheduled for Sunday were moved to dates in the coming week.

The other three sites will remain open.

Individual caregivers will contact by phone, email and / or text message to reschedule any Sunday appointments on the closed mega sites, Murphy said.

The vaccination call center remains open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm to pre-register people, answer questions, and schedule appointments for the first dose.

To reach the vaccination call center, call: 855-568-0545.

Murphy took the action when a winter storm warning remained in effect for 16 counties on Sunday ahead of New Jersey’s second winter storm in the week, which brought a whopping 8 inches to the Garden State. Read more: NJ Weather: Latest snow estimates issued as a winter storm warning
