Interestingly, both the 4K and 5K Ultrafine displays are listed in the United States and remain available for order. The 5K UltraFine display costs $ 1,300 and offers a Thunderbolt 3 port and three USB-C ports. The screen has a brightness of up to 500 nits with a resolution of 5,120 x 2,880, a wide P3 color gamut and offers built-in stereo speakers, a camera and a microphone.

Apple is reportedly working on a new, cheaper external monitor, it said BloombergThe new monitor would be offered alongside the current $ 4,999 high-end 32-inch Pro Display XDR. According to Bloombergthe new monitor would be cheaper and aimed at mainstream consumers, rather than the professional market targeted by the Pro Display XDR.
