The Masters will return to its spot on the calendar in April with the 85th edition of the tournament starting Thursday at Augusta National. The excitement is palpable and history may be on the line with some top golfers looking for their first green jacket as Dustin Johnson aspires to become the fourth ever to defend his in a consecutive tournament.

The most exciting time of the year on the golf calendar is upon us, and the 2021 Masters promises to be a star-studded affair with a laden field of ranks featuring some of the best golfers in the world. Johnson begins his defense – his first for the only green jacket to be captured in November – as expectations for this event peak.

CBS Sports offers extensive weeklong coverage across all its platforms with its traditional 18-hole broadcast starting with the third round on Saturday and the final round action on Sunday. Jim Nantz, in his 36th consecutive year in the Masters, is hosting for the 34th time. Three-time Masters Champion Sir Nick Faldo joins Nantz in the 18th Tower as Chief Analyst on the 25th anniversary of his third victory. Nantz and Faldo are joined by the incredible golf team from CBS Sports as detailed below.

Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth and Jon Rahm are among the top names looking to take out Johnson and claim a green jacket. Thomas and Spieth have had recent big wins, while Rahm hopes to continue celebrating his son’s birth with a win at Augusta National. Spieth is the only one of the trio to have previously captured a Masters tournament.
