Black Ops Cold War is finally about to get a new Zombies map, but the leakage of 2 additional maps could confirm a Season 2 launch.
Since launch, Black Ops Cold War Zombies fans have been a bit lacking in content. In addition to Cranked and Jingle Hells modes, Treyarch’s latest Zombies mode has been somewhat neglected this time around.
But that’s all about to change, as Firebase Z will join Die Maschine in the Cold War squad in a few days. The second map looks like an incredibly interesting location, with a lot of new content to explore.
And what’s more, two more Cold War Zombies tickets may be coming soon as fans speculate about a new leak.
These cards were first teased in the Firebase Z official trailer, but you have to look closely to see them.
Leaked Black Ops Cold War Zombies Map in the US?
Thanks to new information revealed in Firebase Z, we know the location of 2 new Zombies maps. One is a previously leaked Cold War location, Berlin, and the other Zombies map may be in the US.
During the trailer, just as the Aether Reactor goes off, a map is visible on the wall monitors. And as YouTuber TheGamingRevolution points out, there are a few blinking lights.
These locations are both labeled as ‘Identified Outbreak Zones’, which seems to confirm that they are upcoming map locations.
We’ve seen this kind of teasing before, as a similar map in the Die Maschine intro and Cold War Zombies menu also indicates an outbreak in Berlin.

Given the location of the red dot in Berlin, fans actually believe we know what’s coming to the Cold War soon. Many users predict that Black Ops Cold War Zombies will get a Kino Der Toten remake as DLC.
Of course, this Kino der Toten will probably use the old location and expand it, just like Die Maschine did with Nacht der Untoten. Regardless, we’re excited to see what comes out of this leak.
Hopefully this new card will come with yet another Wonder Weapon, like Firebase Z’s RAI K-84.
Black Ops Cold War Zombies Alcatraz leak?
However, the other map location is certainly in North America, and fans think it is in San Francisco. This could confirm that Cold War Zombies is heading to Alcatraz in a future update.
This location has already appeared in Blackout, Treyarch’s attempt at a Battle Royale mode. It wouldn’t be far-fetched to assume that the location could return, in undead survival mode.
As for when these 2 new Zombies maps could be released, TheGamingRevolution points to something interesting. At the end of a recent blog post, Treyarch indicated big plans for Zombies in Season 2.

With that in mind, we should be able to see both maps come out next season. After all, Season 1 of the Cold War brought us multiple Zombies locations, and Season 2 seems to be ramping up dramatically.
But with a Cold War Zombies player recently crashing in Round 506, we hope the new maps are more stable than Die Maschine.
In the past, Treyarch confirmed a new Zombies map in Season 2 of the Cold War. However, it is also possible that the developer was talking about Firebase Z, which has been pushed forward.
