SUGAR LAND, Texas (KTRK) – With a massive vaccination drive-thru clinic operating in Fort Bend County, Memorial Hermann, which supports the county’s efforts, immediately filled 1,000 additional tab appointments for Friday afternoon
The clinic at the Smart Financial Center in Sugar Land is only open to people in Phase 1B, or people 65 and older. Appointments could only be made through the Memorial Hermann portal site.
According to the hospital, the appointment schedules were from 12:00 to 17:15. They are no longer available.
The clinic opened earlier this week, with approximately 16,000 COVID-19 vaccines expected to be available.
On Thursday, SkyEye captured a solid line of cars and people outside the vehicles waiting to be vaccinated.
