Despite all the talk of low TRPs and participants in recycling, this season has brought several highlights to followers that caused quite a stir. Nikki Tamboli’s rain dance with Sidharth Shukla
In the earlier episodes, newbies did their best to impress the Toofani Seniors in the house. One episode featured Rubina Dilaik, Jasmin Bhasin, Pavitra Punia and Nikki Tamboli enjoying a hot rain dance with Sidharth Shukla. Nikki caught the eye of her sizzling chemistry with Sidharth.
Shouted Salman Khan
The episodes of Weekend Ka Vaar always have the most drama when host Salman Khan shows up. The host can give competition to each contestant by making the drama a few times higher. When contestant Jasmin Bhasin was expelled, the moment was so overwhelming for every contestant, including Jasmin’s close friend Aly Goni, that even Salman couldn’t hold back tears.
Salman Khan made Rakhi Sawant’s bed
Last year we saw Salman come into the house to clean it himself to set an example for inmates who had ignored their duties. This season, Nikki Tamboli, who was tasked with making beds in the bedroom, refused to make Rakhi Sawant’s bed. Salman entered the house wearing a mask and went straight to the bedroom to make Rakhi’s bed. He wrapped her blanket and put things on it. Every season gives us a new pair of lovebirds. This year, Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia fell in love. Initially, they both gave in to different fights, but gradually developed a soft corner for each other. Eijaz has also said that if all goes well, they could both get married this year. Speaking of his relationship with Pavitra, Eijaz told The Times of India, “There is no better place to realize a person’s reality than BB house. She is the most caring person I know.”
Rakhi Sawant unabashedly struck and Abhinav Shukla
Rakhi ensures that she creates the maximum drama wherever she goes. In Bigg Boss 14, she decided she liked Abhinav Shukla, and started hitting him openly despite his wife Rubina Dilaik staying in the same house with them. This clearly made the pair uncomfortable, but nothing could deter Rakhi. She even told an enraged Rubina when she confronted her about this: ‘Abhinav is your husband at home, but here he is a contestant.’
Rakhi turned into a ghost
One of the most entertaining episodes was when Rakhi dressed up as a ‘chudail’ on a captaincy job. She took the role all the way to another level. The Bigg Boss house was turned into a haveli where Rahul Mahajan’s first wife chased Julie (Rakhi). Distracting everyone with her antics, she rips Rahul Mahajan’s dhoti to pieces, upsetting everyone.
Vikas Gupta’s emotional breakdown
Participant Vikas Gupta was seen sharing his personal life issues in front of other roommates. He talked about the problems with his own family, brother and mother. He also revealed that he was under debt amounting to Rs 1.8 crore. Vikas also shocked netizens after revealing that he was dating someone “a year and a half before he got on the show (Bigg Boss)”. He claimed that he had not mentioned this person by name, but will now tell all about him. It was immediately speculated that the man in question was Priyank Sharma, as Vikas came out as bisexual during the lockdown and claimed he dated Parth Samthaan and was in a relationship with Priyank Sharma for over a year. He also claimed that he and Priyank stayed together and also did a web show, in which the latter made it difficult for him.
Kavita Kaushik’s Voluntary Exit
Kavita Kaushik seemed to be arguing with almost everyone and was also criticized by Salman during the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes. Kavita got into an argument with Eijaz and spoke to him as ‘ehsaan faramosh’ after reminding him that she made chicken for him during the lockdown. Kavita even had a verbal argument with Abhinav and Rubina, saying she knew his secrets hinted at a ‘friends with benefits’ comparison between her and Abhinav. After a nasty, ugly fight, she walked out of the show.
Rahul Vaidya’s proposal to Disha Parmar
On the eve of Disha Parmar’s birthday, Rahul opened his heart and proposed to his wife to give love. What could be more romantic than this, Disha replied. On a Valentine’s Day special episode, Disha paid a surprise visit to the Bigg Boss house and declared her love for Rahul.
Jasmin Bhasin’s brawl with Rahul Vaidya
Jasmin became one of the participants who could cry in no time. During the World Tour task, Rahul managed to get Jasmin out of a vehicle. She immediately broke down and subsequently accused Rahul of physical harassment. But Rahul told the inmates that he had already warned Jasmin that he was going to play tough in the house. During the episode Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman sided with Rahul.
