1.5 Update from Stardew Valley will include a new beach farm

ConcernedApe, the creator of Stardew Valley, has revealed that version 1.5 of the popular farming and lifestyle sim will feature a new beach farm.

Here’s what to expect from this type of farm, based on the description in the screenshot below:

“Well varied and fished, and tons of open space. Sometimes stock crates wash ashore. Sprinklers don’t work in the sandy soil, however.”

As detailed too, there will be a new “advanced game options” menu that allows you to customize certain aspects of your experience.

In response to tweets to fans, ConcernedApe explained how beach farms would only contain “some” normal soil (not much) and stated that the sprinkler restriction was not “that bad” – further commenting on how any crop can be planted in sand and grass grows on the sand.

When asked about ‘remixed’ bundles, the creator gave the following answer:

“It’s a randomized mix of some brand new bundles and old bundles too, but sometimes the old ones have variants, they need different crops or fish, for example. If you choose ‘normal’, it’s just the classic Stardew Valley set. with bundles ”

And here’s what was said about the “Guaranteed Year 1 Completion” option:

“At the moment in Stardew Valley there is a bundle that requires red cabbage, which cannot be obtained in year 1, except by random chance with the traveling merchant, which may not happen. If you select” guaranteed y1 complete “, causes appear in y1 “

There’s no word on when exactly Stardew Valley’s 1.5 update will be released, but in November the developer said it was on the “home step” – meaning it shouldn’t be too far off.
